the last bit and 0:30 are nice, but the voice feels like it's fighting for attention with the other musical instruments, make's it hard to appreciate either.

Wow i didn't really think much about this song, it seemed kinda chaotic and experimental, like a sketch more than anything, but your description really puts it into perspective. I think producing music is always a way to put abstract sensations that are hard to describe into something people can sort of understand, that's what it often is for me.

Does the long tail represent something specific? or is that just a style choice, because i noticed it in your other songs as well.

It's ok,
it doesn't stick out in any way, the kick is goofy, and the melodies just kinda do something but there's no motif/memorability, i think more repetition could actually help here.

I like 2:33 - end, there's something cool in there.
